Syrah Rogers

Owner

Syrah Rogers is the Founder of ALURA Pilates & Wellness, where movement, recovery, and whole-person wellness come together under one roof. Her philosophy is simple: when we care for the body with intention, we create the foundation for lasting health.

Her passion for movement began long before Pilates. As a competitive dancer for 13 years, Syrah developed a deep appreciation for body awareness, discipline, and purposeful movement—principles that continue to shape her approach to teaching today.

She went on to study Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at Washington State University before spending several years in the medical field, working in hospital laboratories and alongside physicians throughout Spokane. These experiences provided a strong clinical foundation and reinforced her belief that the future of healthcare lies in combining evidence-based medicine with proactive wellness.

Today, Syrah is continuing her nursing education while leading ALURA's growing wellness community. Whether she's teaching on the reformer, developing innovative wellness programs, or helping clients navigate chronic pain, recovery, or performance goals, Syrah's mission remains the same: to empower people to move better, feel stronger, and build a healthier life through intentional movement and whole-body wellness.

Danielle Mancillas

Danielle discovered Pilates after moving to Spokane in 2021 while searching for a form of movement that challenged her body without the wear and tear of high-impact exercise. As a lifelong athlete and dancer, she was drawn to Pilates for its ability to build strength, improve mobility, and help people move with confidence both in and out of the studio.

Certified through Polestar Pilates and currently bridging her education to Balanced Body, Danielle combines classical Pilates principles with functional movement to create dynamic, thoughtfully programmed classes. She believes Pilates should leave you feeling stronger, more capable, and connected to your body.

Expect upbeat energy, creative sequencing, and playlists that make the hard work fly by. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve mobility, or simply enjoy moving, Danielle is excited to have you in class!
